License activation on Citrix VDI (Azure workload)

We use Nitro Pro in a VDI environment, non-persistent desktops. How does the licensing work in such a scenario, i activate the license on a random desktop i get allocated, but after reboot, that information is lost as the desktop switches back to a base standard image, and I get allocated a new desktop and have to activate the license again. 

Couple of questions

1. Can this activation be made persistent, say on the golden image i activate the license and everybody who uses this image (on various virtual desktops) it stays activated.

2. can we capture the reg keys or whatever that holds this activation information and use that to keep it activated on every new login.
