Fresh Method Posted July 17, 2020 Report Posted July 17, 2020 I need help when saving PDF in NitroPDF PRO v12. The pdf documents are being saved to a network drive and once in a while it throws an error: The document G:\Signed Letters\1641D 2020 ITR Acknowledgement letter.pdf could not be saved. Please contact Nitro Support for assistance. Error code: 0x400D05AA We have ran some troubleshooting like uninstalling/reinstalling NitroPDF PRO v12, installing NitroPDF PRO v13 trial version. We also tried to focus with the troubleshooting on the computer itself by running sfc /scannow, Windows memory diagnostics, chkdsk /f /r, etc. but the issue still happens. Is there anything else that you can recommend to fix this issue? Again, this issue happens once in a while, it happens randomly and the only way to fix it is restarting the computer or if the issue still happens, repairing the installation of NitroPDF Pro fixes the issue. Thanks in advance.
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted July 17, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Posted July 17, 2020 Hello @Fresh Method, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! When you receive these "0x400." error codes, they are actually Microsoft Network error codes. For more details about this specific error, Hexadecimal Value 05AA when converted to Decimal is 1450 as per page https://www.binaryhexconverter.com/hex-to-decimal-converter which mean below as per site https://docs.microsoft.com/fil-ph/windows/win32/debug/system-error-codes--1300-1699- : ++++++++++++++++++ ERROR_NO_SYSTEM_RESOURCES 1450 (0x5AA) Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service. ++++++++++++++++++ As per above information, this seems to be an issue on your end with regard to having insufficient system resources. Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps.
joseph matheson Posted February 25, 2022 Report Posted February 25, 2022 (edited) This is happening to me as well and I have 32Gb of ram so I don't think the problem is on my end. Maybe since so many use Windows it would be a good idea to fiquire out why your program thinks there is not enough resources and provide a fix for the Windows users. Unless you can provide a fix I'll be forced to use other vendors' which have a more reliable/compatible product with Windows. Edited February 25, 2022 by joseph matheson
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted February 28, 2022 Official Nitronaut Report Posted February 28, 2022 Hello @joseph matheson, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! In order to further assist you, what build of Nitro Pro are you working with? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 13.XX.X.XXX, e.g. 13.58.0.1180) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features. Lastly, does this happen when opening specific PDF files? Are they saved locally or in a network-folder? Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
