Activation Error -23 - not fixable by activation portal

I just made an adjustment on your license, so you can now activate your copy of Nitro Pro by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, entering your serial number and clicking Activate.

Nitro Pro 11 went into trial mode on my laptop after I installed a Windows update. I get Error 23 when I try to reactivate with the license number I purchased in March 2018. Using the license portal to deactivate does not fix the problem, as was the case with the users above. I would appreciate any help in resolving this matter.

My Nitro Pro 12.0.0.12 switched again to trial mode again (first time on Dec. 16, 2018, see post), and Error 23 prevents me again from reactivating with the license number I purchased in October 2018. I deactivated and tried to reactivate, but unsuccessfully, as before. Thanks for help in resolving this issue. Also, can I prevent that in the future? Thanks.

Did you machine just installed major Windows updates? If yes, kindly note that upon upgrade of the operating system or installing a major Microsoft update, the Computer ID is changed, as it is comprised partially by the operating system. Once changed, this will no longer recognize the original installation causing the program to revert to trial mode.

To fix this issue, I just made an adjustment on your license, so you can now activate your copy of Nitro Pro by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, entering your serial number and clicking Activate.

After I installed a Windows update, my Nitro Pro 11 installation went into Trial Mode, and I cannot use it or reset it with the activation portal. This is the second time this issue has occurred -- see my post from December 31, 2018. I would appreciate assistance resolving this matter.

As with the last major Microsoft update, I have the problem again after the update to activate the software "23 error license number is already in use.

I couldn't solve the problem through the activation portal.
